Takemoto Yuuta is the main lead of Honey and Clover. He's also the narrator of the story as it unfolds the drama it posses and the reminiscence of his past.
He is from Annaka City, Gunma prefecture. He's an architecture student who lives in the same apartment complex with his senpai (upperclassman) friends, Morita Shinobu and Mayama Takumi. His floormates are Hasegawa and Morita. He currently resides in Room 202.
When Hanamoto Hagumi, or Hagu-chan, enters their college, Takemoto immediately develops feelings for her. However, Takemoto's feelings are contained.
Takemoto Yuuta has a considerate nature. Everytime there's a party going on, Takemoto prefers to have that party with the whole crew on-board. He is a soft- spoken friend who is concerned of the people around him. He helps them and does his best at it; not to mention that he also wants to please the bunch.
